Maintenance Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Chick-fil-A restaurant by supporting the Maintenance Manager in both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks. This team member will assist in maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and fully operational environment for team members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Maintenance Manager to execute scheduled preventative maintenance on all restaurant equipment and systems.
  • Assist in responding to and resolving maintenance issues promptly, including issues with fryers, grills, ice machines, refrigeration units, and other kitchen and front-of-house equipment.
  • Help track maintenance needs, complete maintenance logs, and communicate ongoing or upcoming repair needs to leadership.
  • Support ordering and organizing parts, tools, and supplies needed for repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential problems before they impact operations.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance workspaces and storage areas.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting support and collaborate with outside vendors when necessary.
  • Help with Kitchen Operations when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Basic mechanical or technical knowledge; prior experience in facilities or restaurant maintenance is a plus.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and follow Chick-fil-A’s operational standards and safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to maintenance work.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings or evenings as needed for maintenance scheduling.
